Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Tool Operation: Assist in the operation of power tools and hand tools under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Support: Provide general support to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) as needed.
- Documentation: Complete daily timesheets and safety logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including some weekends if necessary.
