Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trades with basic tasks
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Adapt to project schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Punctuality and consistent attendance required
