Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Dig, fill, and level earth to prepare for construction projects.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints or instructions.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as hauling, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
