Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools and light machinery (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform basic excavation, trenching, and backfilling tasks as directed
- Assist in setting up and breaking down temporary job site structures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
