Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical labor tasks
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Pass background check and drug screening
