Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with daily project tasks
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and transport tools to work areas
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Support team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Illinois when required
