The Role:
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, assisting with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily on-site tasks and project execution.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up staging areas, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision after safety certification.
- Transport materials between job sites or warehouses safely and efficiently.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a zero-injury workplace.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials to specifications when directed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from team leaders.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Must be safety-conscious and adhere to strict site regulations.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
