Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including demolition, excavation, and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction documents
- Assist in setting up scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
