Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using trucks, dollies, or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Perform site preparation work, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, generators) under supervision after certification.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical stamina required: ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Reliable transportation to the Baltimore, MD worksite.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
