Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from the job site using forklifts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, under the supervision of a supervisor.
- Assembly & Installation: Help assemble scaffolding, frames, and formwork for concrete pouring.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to read basic blueprints and diagrams to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License is required for site transportation.
- Attitude: Must be a quick learner with a strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with crew members.
