Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand tools, forklifts, or heavy machinery.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople by carrying supplies and performing basic tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working order; report any safety hazards immediately.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of each shift.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
- Work Ethic: A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
