Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at the job site to ensure efficient workflow.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing waste and adhering to safety regulations.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to required specifications.
Qualifications
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time every day.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Experience: No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
