Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload construction materials, tools, and machinery safely
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout projects
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Support skilled tradespeople with site-specific tasks
- Report maintenance needs and safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required—training provided
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety procedures (training included)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
