Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing, grading, and leveling terrain.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and safety officers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; a strong work ethic is more important.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (OSHA 10 preferred but not required).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn and operate basic construction equipment.
