Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with various tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple measurements.
- Must be safety-conscious and eager to learn new techniques.
