Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with general construction tasks such as carpentry, drywall hanging, and painting preparation.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and site storage areas.
- Operate basic construction tools and power equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and following safety protocols (OSHA standards).
- Perform site measurements and prepare surfaces for finishing work.
- Support the crew with digging, trenching, and concrete setting as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety and a commitment to wearing PPE.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
