Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment (drills, saws, levels) as trained by senior staff.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Quality Control: Perform basic inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to showing up on time and ready to work.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
