Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of senior crew members.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with specific tasks as directed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Site Cleanup: Perform regular cleanup duties to ensure the work area remains organized and hazard-free.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Entry-level candidates are welcome; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening and be punctual.
