Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Follow all site safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Transport materials to and from the work area using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Perform basic site measurements and mark layout points as directed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Basic English proficiency for communication purposes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
