Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including excavation, framing, and finishing
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Support concrete pouring, site preparation, and demolition activities
- Participate in project clean-up and waste management
- Adapt to various job sites across Virginia Beach and North Carolina
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- No prior construction experience required – we train on the job!
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and various weather
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites
