As a Laborer at Apex Build, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, working alongside experienced craftsmen to ensure our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks and operations.
- Perform basic cleaning and preparation of job sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Transport materials between job sites and storage areas as directed.
- Assist in digging, leveling, and preparing surfaces for construction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but experience is not required for entry-level positions.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.
- Valid ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
