Responsibilities
- General Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) under strict supervision and safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and maintain a safe work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Material Handling: Transport heavy materials (bricks, lumber, concrete) to and from the work area.
- Support Tasks: Help with concrete pouring, framing support, and other general construction duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic, be punctual, and demonstrate dependability.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License is preferred but not always required.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
