As a Laborer, you will be the backbone of our projects, ensuring that sites are safe, clean, and ready for skilled tradespeople to execute their work. If you are physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in digging trenches, leveling ground, and preparing surfaces for concrete or flooring.
- Tool Support: Operate basic hand tools (hammers, levels, saws) and power tools under supervision to support the crew.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized worksite by removing debris, trash, and waste regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with foremen and other laborers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, painters) with various tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions, both written and verbal.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Documentation: Valid ID and ability to pass a background check/drug screen.
