Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery (under supervision) such as saws, drills, and compressors.
- Support Trades: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Measurement & Marking: Assist in measuring, cutting, and marking materials according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work well within a team setting.
- Experience: No prior construction experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
