Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing waste and organizing tools.
- Assist Skilled Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with basic tasks and manual labor as directed.
- Equipment Care: Inspect and report any damage to tools or equipment to the site supervisor immediately.
- Adherence to Safety: Always follow OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in the construction field.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Documentation: Must be able to provide valid identification and eligibility to work in the United States.
