Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, with various tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow project blueprints and instructions provided by foremen.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a team environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
