Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and earthwork operations under night shift conditions
- Install and remove construction site safety barriers and perimeter fencing
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and compactors with certification
- Maintain project cleanliness through debris removal and waste management protocols
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling and equipment setup
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verified construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with proper certification
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive motions
- Flexibility to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Strong communication skills for team coordination
