Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, skid steers) after proper training and certification.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by carrying supplies and performing basic tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Measurements: Assist with basic measurements and measurements of materials to ensure accuracy during construction processes.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with little to no prior experience who are willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing, walking, and climbing.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to adhere to strict schedules and deadlines.
- Team Player: Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
