Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform basic measurements and cutting of materials according to project specifications.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Move and position heavy objects safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific safety plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading comprehension skills for following instructions and safety guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible shifts.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
