Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials at job sites safely and efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Excavation & Preparation: Perform digging, trenching, and site preparation duties.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; a strong work ethic is essential.
