Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare job sites, removing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks as directed.
- Measurements: Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Quality Control: Perform basic inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
