Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on-site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and generators (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and instructions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on job sites at heights.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
