Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Perform general labor duties such as mixing concrete, sweeping, and cleaning.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team setting.
