Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare building materials for use by carpenters, masons, and other workers.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist in site preparation, including digging, leveling, and cleaning work areas.
- Perform general site maintenance, including debris removal and equipment cleanup.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using heavy machinery or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime.
