Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Load/unload heavy equipment and materials safely using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet safety standards
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Participate in daily team briefings and project updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
