Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, digging, and excavation tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Perform basic carpentry or masonry tasks under the direct supervision of skilled trades.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols strictly.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery as directed by the foreman.
- Collaborate effectively with foremen and team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime.
