Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist skilled tradespersons with concrete work, framing, and finishing operations
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous waste disposal
- Interpret blueprints and construction documents for accurate implementation
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
