Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and tools safely at job sites
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with manual labor tasks
- Operate basic machinery like jackhammers and saws under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout projects
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly
- Complete daily progress reports for site supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Georgia construction certification preferred but not required
