Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure site safety
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard recognition
- Support concrete pouring, excavation, and finishing operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong teamwork ethic and communication skills
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- High school diploma or equivalent
