Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of a foreman.
- Task Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to strict OSHA safety regulations.
- Concrete & Foundation: Help with pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete foundations and structures.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically fit, able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid New York State Driver's License required.
- Safety: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
