Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earth-moving operations with precision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Construct foundations, install concrete forms, and pour concrete structures
- Install scaffolding, braces, and temporary supports for construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred
- Proficient with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
