Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, site preparation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction activities and site cleanup
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work area
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Transport materials and equipment using company vehicles or machinery
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
