Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) under supervision
- Assist carpenters and masons with structural assembly
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized stockpiles
- Follow blueprints and project specifications precisely
- Implement erosion control and environmental protection measures
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment
- Strong physical stamina and weather adaptability
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in varying conditions
