Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (training provided)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating machinery
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
- Team player with positive attitude toward collaborative work
