Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Transport materials and tools to and from the work site as directed.
- Follow all project instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is highly desirable.
