Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts and circuitry.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure strict adherence to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service and explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Certification in OSHA safety standards is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
