Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project plans
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment as needed
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute to team problem-solving
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
