Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Assist in demolition, excavation, and backfilling operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Strong physical stamina and endurance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Dallas County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must possess basic hand tools (tape measure, level, hammer)
