Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials, operating hand/power tools, and operating heavy machinery under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material preparation and site setup
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and follow written/oral instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Assist in erecting scaffolding, temporary structures, and site preparation
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow detailed instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
