Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundation work under supervisor guidance
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, layout, and installation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Perform cleanup, debris removal, and site security duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Complete daily equipment maintenance logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided if needed)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
